Worming, Flea Treatments & Vaccinations

While at Liberty, your puppy has been wormed at two, four, six, and at eight weeks of age, prior to puppy leaving us, Advocate is given(this lasts 4 weeks).
Puppies need to be wormed every two weeks until 12 weeks of age then every month, until they are 6 months of age, then every three months for the rest of their lives. Your puppy is up to date with worm & flea treatments the day he leaves here. You can purchase worm tablets/Flea Treatments from your vet. Use the vaccination appointments with your vet as an opportunity to ask any questions about products. We choose to
use Milpro for our puppies and Cancare or Advocate for our adult dogs. Regular worming will help to keep your puppy healthy.

VACCINATIONS

Vaccinations and vet checks are given by our vets when your puppy is approx 6-8 weeks of age. He will then under your care will require a second and then a third vaccination, under guidance from your vet. Vaccinations are then annually(google titre test regarding booster vaccines). Until your puppy has had his 2nd/3rd vaccinations DO NOT take him to places that unvaccinated dogs may have been. Remember your puppy is not fully vaccinated when he arrives at your home. Avoid taking your puppy to public places until at least 7 days after he has completed the full vaccination schedule as advised by your vet.
